Sex Toy Certification From Loveology University

dr ava cadell, how to please a man, how to please a woman, loveology university, LU course review, married men, married women, sex, sexpert, single men, single women

The cover page for the course lists the types of sex toys the course covers, including: butt plugs, lotions and potions, vibrators, dolls, B, D, S & M toys, oral delights, rings and love kits.

The course gives detailed information about all these items, how they are made, how to care for them, how to use them, things you should not use or do, tips about usual and unique items – did you know there are vegan toys for an example? Me neither 🙂 But the course starts with the history of sex toys. Did you know that goats eyelids were used as sex toys in 1100, that Ben Wa Balls were introduced in 500 AD, and clitoral stimulators in 1600? Just a few tidbits from the section about the history of sex toys 🙂

Do you think the only toys are vibrators, dildos and nipple toys? Boy are you missing all kinds of possibilities.

sex_toys_18

This chart blew my mind the first time I saw it.

Sex toys are also for anyone, married, gay, lesbian, straight, single, men, women, couples, solo – and just about any combination you can think of. Some people are usually less shy or embarrassed to purchase and use sex toys, but that doesn’t mean other people aren’t curious or interested.

In this course, you learn tips to incorporate toys into an existing relationship or maybe to add additional stimulation and satisfaction to masturbation – whether mutual or solo masturbation.

Whether a person is trying to decide what type of toys to use, learn how to use them, how to care for them or anything else, this is a great course and its definitely packed with details, visuals and more information than I think most people could ever use.

But, what about people in the sex toy party business? This is a fantastic tool for them to use – I can imagine the reaction of customers at a toy party as they see the many, many uses for various toys. This is a short video that shows a preview of what is included in this course AND information has been added to the course – http://www.youtube.com/loveologytv#p/c/F3E66B1458F71DC4/3/X1MG1m-hZYQ

I definitely recommend that you take a look at this course or any of the other courses offered at Loveology University. I’m having a great time working through the courses and learning so much…

How Often Do Women Masturbate?

how to please a woman, married women, sexpert, single women

A friend sent this to me and I thought it was very interesting and the comments were very enlightening. The link to the original post and the comments is at the bottom of the post. Would love to hear your thoughts if you want to share – male and female comments are welcome 🙂

92% Of Women Masturbate: How Often Do They Do It

A new study reveals 92% of women regularly take time out to masturbate, a huge jump from the findings of previous studies (74% in 1979 and 62% in 1953).

The Gossard Big M Survey interviewed 1,000 women, ages 18-30, and their answers indicate that not only do 9 out of 10 women play with themselves, two-thirds do it three times a week. The study refers to these as “sessions,” which we can assume doesn’t refer to the number of orgasms achieved, but rather, the time spent achieving them. ‘Cause you know that if you have one, you stick around for more. Orgasms from masturbating are like Payless shoes: Once women masturbatingyou get the first pair, you get the second for next to nothing.

Going just from the published findings of this survey, it’s impossible to determine, on average, what percentage of the week is spent flying solo. So maybe we can make this a group effort? I’ll start off:

– I masturbate, on average, 5 days a week.
– Each “session” lasts for about 12 minutes, with a minimum of 3 orgasms a session, and a max of 13. (I don’t know if these means I’m really good at it, or really bad.)
– I sleep, on average, about 6 hours a night, so I’m deducting that from my “week.”

Variables:
– I work from home, so I have more opportunities to masturbate on a whim than most women.
– I use a Hitachi Magic Wand, which is indeed magical, so the act is easier. However, I also make up for time saved by being greedy with as many orgasms as possible.

So, if my math is correct, then:
7,080 minutes of my week, I am awake.
60 minutes are spent masturbating.

Which means:
.84% of my week is spent masturbating.

But also, of the days I masturbate:
1,080 minutes of my day are spent awake.
12 minutes are spent masturbating.

Which means:
1.1% of my day is spent masturbating.

Feel free to leave your results in the comments.

Online Friendships and Relationships – How Close Can You Be?

relationship, sexpert

sexy legs over laptop isolated on white

In the cyber age where we can click a mouse or plug in our webcams and talk to people across town or on the other side of the world -I have some questions.

  • How close can we be to people that we may never meet in person?
  • Can we have a meaningful relationship with people that we may not see in person?

Friends and family that I see in person give me that all too familiar look that says – “you’ve lost your mind”. But, I’ve got friends that I met online days ago and other online friends that I met years ago and I consider some of these people to be my closest friends. Does anyone else agree?

Now – moving past a regular platonic relationship – can we have a romantic relationship online? I’m not talking about cyber sex- but can you have a relationship where you truly connect with the other person, the kind where you feel like you can touch their inner being. Can that kind of relationship be developed and cultivated online?

  • Finally – do you think that getting to know someone online might be a great way to start a meaningful relationship?
  • If so – why?
  • Do you think that we benefit from the fact that we have to share our thoughts and feelings which can allow us to really get to know the other person – when we aren’t face to face?
  • Could an online relationship be a good way to rekindle a relationship?

In the middle of 2009, my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and she was very sick for several months before she died at the end of September. It was a tough time for the family and I was very surprised to realize how much support my online friends were during that time. I was talking to a dear friend today and we both agreed that times of family illness and crisis are definitely the times when we discover who our best friends and our true support system are — I know that I would’ve had a much tougher time with my online friends — they know who they are and they know how much I value them 🙂

Sex Toy Review – Couture Collection

dating, experimentation, guest post, lesbian sex, married men, married women, Master Sexpert Tips, masturbation, orgasm, product review, sex, sex toy review, sexpert, single men, single women, Uncategorized

This is a gorgeous toy – I don’t like pink, but its very sleek and great to the touch – hand or other touch 🙂 It has the same shape as a rabbit, but sort of a dolphin nose tip. At first I didn’t look real close at the other tip – but it swivels – very nice addition to the toy.

The toy has 3 buttons – one is the power button, one control the vibration of the toy and the third controls the rotation of the bigger tip. This is the part that can massage or tap on your G-Spot — like I said above, nice addition to the toy 🙂

This is not a cheap toy, but it is very nice quality and just has that luxury toy feel. Yes – you can feel the difference 🙂 It is also waterproof – for use in the tub, the shower, the hot tub or any other watery scenario that you imagine.

This toy requires 3 AAA batteries and at first I didn’t see a location for the third – but you do need all three to make it work.

I highly recommend this toy for plenty of play with or without a partner.

A few tips –

1 – Play with the tilt of the toy for added stimulation. The smaller tip is a great clitoris massager and stimulator – but you may want to play with the intensity of the vibration — there are a number of intensities and pulses – and also the location of the tip on your body.

2 – If you like a little anal teasing along with your vaginal stimulation – turn the toy around and that smaller tip may give you a little anal play. Again – just play with the toy – to see what areas you can stimulate with the two tips — you know the experimenting with a new toy is half the fun 🙂

3 – The toy cleans up very easily and has a wonderful smooth feel on the shaft – very nice feel.

4 – There are many power and pulse combinations between the main shaft pulsing and the 4 settings on the rotating tip. This is also great for it to keep pace with your various levels of pleasure. Definitely communicate with your partner when you’re playing with it together to make sure you’re getting the greatest possible pleasure 🙂

Do You Need a Love Coach or a Relationship Coach

love, love coach, loveologist, married men, married women, relationship, relationship coach, sex, single men, single women

Almost five years I completed training to become a Love Coach and passed the final exam. While I was studying and in the years since, I’ve noticed that each time I mentioned training to become a Love Coach – I got strange looks from people. I figured out quickly that was because they didn’t understand what a Love Coach does. So, I want to share some information about Love Coaching.

Actually – above I said that I completed my training, but that’s not really true. I studied and passed each of the individual courses in the Love Coach curriculum, but I plan to dig much deeper into many of the topics – and of course, share posts on a variety of blogs about the things I’m learning. Like many trades, Love Coaches do continue to learn and to add to their knowledge of the topics their clients need.

You are probably familiar with life coaches, business coaches, and other types of coaches. A love coach is a person who is trained to help people handle love and relationships. A marriage, a family or being part of a couple, are the most important relationships we have – so it makes sense that we would need someone to help us through the tough times. A person who is trained to help with relationships, can be unbiased and more helpful than going to a friend or family member – and many people do that when there are problems.

Love coaching can be something we do only for our acquaintances or can be used to expand an existing career or to start a new career. Life coaches can benefit from this training to expand their practices, many people in health related fields can continue their education through any of these courses (and individuals licensed in California, can get continuing education credits). People who are intimate party planners can add a great new dimension to the information and services they can offer clients by completing the Love Coach curriculum. And some people opt to take the Love Coach or the Master Sexpert training for their own love life. There are many options.

How a Love Coach Works

  • They are a Love Coach – not a counselor or therapist
  • They offer coaching and education
  • They do not offer therapeutic or medical advice
  • They determine specific details about what sort of coaching is needed and are realistic about the possibility of being helpful
  • They discuss fees and details about length of coaching sessions in the beginning
  • They help client set and reach goals – they do not try to “fix” the person
  • They help clients focus on improving the future, not focusing on the past problems
  • They monitor client successes and celebrate achievements
  • They support and motivate clients and listen to them to form a plan to help them
  • They teach tools and techniques the client can use to achieve their goals
  • They develop homework and “lovework” assignments to help reach their goals
  • They encourage clients to reach out to other professionals if needed

Ethics of the Love Coach

A love coach is bound by all ethical requirements of any other professional. This would include confidentiality and other ethical guidelines. They must create a safe environment so the client feels they can share the details the coach needs to determine the best course of action to reach their goals. All clients need to sign a Love Coaching Agreement and you can see a sample agreement here —

  • Never share personal details with anyone – except your Love Coach supervisor
  • Never discuss the coaches personal sex life with clients
  • Never judge or ridicule a client
  • Never accept personal gifts from clients
  • Always give proper details about training, abilities, skills, experience, skills, etc
  • Never become sexually involved with clients or anyone connected with a client

What sort of things would you like to discuss with a Love Coach?

Book Review – Laid by Shannon T Boodram

guest post, product review, sex, Uncategorized

A Facebook friend told me about this book and mentioned that I might enjoy it – so I contacted the author and got a copy of the book.

I may be very open minded about sex – but I am concerned about teens and the things they are bombarded with every day. I may sound old – but I remember when kids, could be kids. They weren’t flooded with sexual messages everywhere they looked.

Sure there was sex in the music, the movies etc – but not like it is now. And, we had to get creative to send sexy and suggestive messages. As an example, when I was a teenager,  our parents insisted that my boyfriend and I were “forbidden” to see each other and to even talk most of the time. So, we worked out a system where a friend of his brought me messages. It worked beautifully.

These days teens have email, chatrooms, instant messaging, cell phones, text messages, social networks and so many other options. But we have all heard of the things that can happen with these technological advances. It seems to me that few teens have the chance to be teens –  they are pushed into adult situations by the media, their peers and many other things.

So – how do young people handle this “hyper” sexual culture? I think parents, other teens and anyone else who cares about teens need to read this book. It contains personal experiences from a wide variety of teens in their own words.  This book contains the good, the bad and the ugly about this “easy access culture”.

Shannon T Boodram – accepted pieces written by a variety of young people about their experiences with sex in their teens. Some are narratives and some are poems  – but they all tell very personal stories to share their experiences.

Chapter 1 – Hookups That Fell Down (about hookups)

Chapter 2 – And Then I Saw Stars (about positive sexual experiences)

Chapter 3 – Haven’t Been Quite Right Since That Night…. (about physical consequences)

Chapter 4 – When No! Loses All Meaning (about date rape)

Chapter 5 – Save Your Cherry… or Banana (about abstinence)

Each of these chapters is broken up into several different sections. There is an introduction, a list of possible questions and answers about the chapter content, and a list of questions to ask yourself about the information in the chapters.

This book needed to be written. In case anyone has any doubts – times have changed for everyone, but times have changed much more for teens and we need to understand what they are facing and what they are doing to help teens that we care about.

I highly recommend this book – the insights are very revealing and often disturbing. I’ll also warn you that reading this book will bring back memories for each of us – that first kiss, that first sexual experience, yearning for someone when we weren’t sure if we were ready for sex, having sex and then realizing it wasn’t right for us, learning from our mistakes and our triumphs and much more.

Sex Toy Review – We-Vibe The Handfree Vibrator You Wear While Making Love

experimentation, guest post, married men, married women, Master Sexpert Tips, masturbation, orgasm, product review, sex, sexpert, single men, single women

The We-Vibe is a very interesting and unique vibrator. When you first look at it – it may seem strange, but when you understand how it works — it makes perfect sense.

Imagine a sex toy that the woman “wears” and that can vibrate for the man and the woman during intercourse. I have your attention now don’t I? That is how the We Vibe works. Notice there are two ends to it. One end stimulates the clitoris and the other end stimulates the g-spot. So – both spots are being stimulated at once.

And, it is very thin – so you can have sex while you wear the We Vibe. Men – imagine you are making love to your partner and you get to enjoy being inside her and you get a vibrating vagina. Tell me that doesn’t sound good.

This  diagram shows how the We Vibe should be worn.

Now – my thoughts –

This is not cheap – but it is a high quality vibrator.  The on/off switch is built  into the tip of the We Vibe, when you look close there are two “dimples” – push there to turn it on and off. When its wet – this can be a little tricky, but it is possible. The first time I plugged it in to charge it – it was a little tricky, because the recharge opening is hidden very well. But again, a little work and I had it charging just fine.

I wanted to figure it out before sharing it with anyone.  So, I inserted the one end so that it was on my g-spot and placed the other on my clitoris — and it felt good right away. Even on high, it isn’t a hard vibration, but a nice steady pulse and of course, vibrating both spots at once is very nice.

I remembered that the website said it can be worn while you’re out. I was going grocery shopping that afternoon and decided to give it a test run. Its so much fun to shop of Saturday afternoons when the single men shop (usually its Sundays, but  Saturdays during football season). I did notice that the We Vibe is very quiet – so I figured why not give it a try. But I knew that I couldn’t easily turn it off in the store – so for better or worse, I had to commit to the outing with the We Vibe on the whole time.

I made sure it was charged before I left for the store – and I inserted the WeVibe and headed out the door – feeling good. On my way to my truck – my dad pulled into the driveway — that wasn’t good, but I couldn’t go back in the house. We talked for about 10 minutes and he didn’t hear a thing 🙂 So, I was off to the store and didn’t even mind waiting at the stop lights. I will share that a slight tip of your pelvis with the We Vibe can make a great difference in how good it feels.

That was one of the most interesting trips to the grocery store that I’ve ever had. It was fun feeling the We Vibe while I was picking up my food and waiting in the check out line. I hate to shop – but this plan has definite potential.

The WeVibe is interesting and stimulating to use alone – for those times when you want to show some self love. But what would a man think? I asked 2 friends if they would be willing to test it with me. They both agreed – interesting that one liked it and one still isn’t sure if he liked it or not.

The friend who enjoyed it – was intrigued with the WeVibe and he enjoys various toy play. So, he was the perfect person to ask first.  Watching his eyes open wide and the look of pure pleasure was fun 🙂 It took a little time to get used to the WeVibe – but we both enjoyed it.

The second friend likes to experiment physically, and makes it very clear that he doesn’t need any “assistance”. So, agreeing to try the WeVibe was a big step for him. He was hesitant at first, but eventually decided to give it a try — his shock when he felt the vibration was obvious on his face immediately.  We used the WeVibe for plenty of stimulation, but when we were both ready to come, he preferred  to take the WeVibe out. He did admit it was enjoyable to play and as we were both getting more aroused.

So the bottom line – here are the pros and cons

Pros –

  • slim design and easy to insert
  • no batteries or wire
  • possible bigasm even when alone with the We Vibe since it stimulates the clitoris and the g-spot
  • easy to recharge and long battery life
  • its purple (my favorite color)
  • great stimulation for man and woman during intercourse
  • easy clean up

Cons –

  • it isn’t cheap – $130, but is well built and high quality
  • turning it on and off can be tricky – takes a little practice

Overall – I really like the flexibility (more than just how it flexes) and I love unique items. Its a great idea that was created by a man and woman to be used by men and women.

Information from the website – http://we-vibe.com/

UPDATE – There is a WeVibe 2 – I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve read some very positive reviews. To learn more about the WeVibe 2 – visit http://we-vibe.com/ and there is a video right there to tell you about the improvements and the differences 🙂

The Most Fun Toybox I Have – The Tunti Illuminating Boudoir Toybox

guest post, product review, sexpert, Uncategorized

As a kid, I always wanted a way to carry my favorite toys. Whether it was my Matchbox car collection or my Legos or my Lincoln Logs – and yes I had all those. Yeah, there were a couple of Barbie’s too 🙂 We lived in a small place, so I had to pack up my toys and put them away when I wasn’t playing with them.

When I started adding toys to my sex toy collection, I soon realized that I needed to store them somewhere.  I have many tote bags of all possible sizes, so I was using a nice tote bag. But, last week I got a present and as soon as I opened the cardboard box — I knew what it was – it was a sex toy, toybox. And it is very nice.

It is very well built and sturdy, latches closed and even has keys if I want to lock it. There is a clear panel that protects the toys in the bottom of the case and a stretchy net on the inside of the lid where some lighter weight items, cleaner or anything else can be stored. Then I noticed the small box on the inside of the lid — would you believe, it contained 2 batteries. When I pushed the batteries in more securely – I discovered the box is illuminated. Very nice addition to a nice case.

There are some dividers in the bottom section and the smaller dividers can be rearranged – and at the moment I have it figured out so that the items I want to store in the case fit very well.  The case also is a great height so that it slides under my bed perfectly. A Tunti toybox is a very nice addition to my collection and solves the question of where to store my toys when they aren’t in use. I’m looking forward to the chance to pull out the case and show it to a friend – will be interesting to get their reaction 🙂

Below is information from the www.tuntienterprises.com website and the banner above is also from their website. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you have one of these toyboxes.

The Tunti Illuminating Boudoir Toybox

Specs

Tunti’s row of 4 LED lights in the upper lid turn on when opened, and off when closed (like a refrigerator). They run on AA batteries, and are very easily replaced.

It comes with 4 adjustable dividers (plus one center fixed divider), so that you can customize your Tunti to organize and accommodate all of your playthings. These dividers will prevent incompatible materials from contacting each other, and melting and bleeding.

The bottom compartment is lined with a soft, dense foam, that is color-fast and very easy to clean. It will cushion your toys, keeping them protected during travel.

A small mesh pocket lining the back of the bottom compartment is idea for storing small accessories, batteries, condoms…

The upper lid is lined in a crushed purple velvet, and has a large mesh pocket that is ideal for extra-large toys (like your Hitachi Magic Wand, for instance). It is perfect for storing lubes, oils and lotions, and keeping them away from the toys.

A pink plexiglass removable center divider keeps the toys in the bottom in their place, and prevents accidental leaks from the toys stored above from getting into the lower compartments.

Tunti’s outer shell is a strong black PVC, and looks much like a camera case. It has silver trim, silver locking latches (comes with 2 keys), and a handle.

The interior dimensions are 12×10×5.

All cases are shipped bubble-wrapped, and double-boxed, and arrive in a plain brown, with just the business name printed on the outside.
