Interview – Dr Grace

Today I’ll share the first in a series of “sex positive” interview. This interview introduces you to Dr Grace – she is a very nice person who truly wants to help people improve their quality of life. Please read on…

Would you like to share your name?

Dr Grace G

What prompted you to learn more to become a Love Coach or a Sexpert?

I first began my research when I was a young wife trying to improve my skills for my partner, then as my practice as a Psychology Dr. grew, I had more and more patients inquire about the intimate part of their lives. I told them what I knew and what I have learned. Then I started to research even more, to help them.

What is your title?

It’s funny, to be completely honest I don’t really know what to use when I try to tell people what I do.

I still consider myself very much a Dr. of Psychology, but I have learned and helped so many with my “sexology” knowledge that most of my clients recommend me to their friends as a sex therapist.

In a few sentences, how do you describe what you do?

I help mostly couples get in touch with their inner selves. I explain and teach them what a Good Marriage/Relationship is about. I recondition their thinking and teach them how to approach each other in their every day lives. So many couples fail, fall out of love and relationships fall apart. I teach them how to “Stay In Love” by whatever means are necessary.

How long have you worked in this industry?

Since 1992 in the USA, and since 1991 in Europe.

Speaking of the industry – how do you classify the industry or business that you work in?

“Making people stay together, heal their relationship from the very base and to be happy Individuals as one. It takes really everything. It’s a mental, spiritual and physical industry. You can not heal one, without considering the other.

What has been the hardest thing about your work?

When one partner is not willing or too lazy to put in the work and the relationship falls apart, in spite of my efforts and the efforts of the partner who “is really trying”.

What has been the easiest thing about your work?

Mending people’s love, genuinely caring, not focusing on making money, but measuring my success by how many people I have helped.

What has been the most rewarding thing about your work?

People still calling me years later to thank me, or seeing them in the street still holding hands and being very much in love years later after I have helped them.

What education do you have to do this sort of work?

Dr. of Psychology. Dr. of Philosophy, Worked with many specialists in real life to teach me about kink and even got a mock diploma lol, personal life experiences.

What additional training did you feel that you needed to do more for your clients?

Pastoral Counselor, Marriage Conductor, Dr. of Natural Medicine

Did you expand an existing business to include love and relationship coaching?

Yes, I went from just a psychology practice to also Intimacy coaching and Kink training.

Do you have a website and/or blog?

Both. http://www.sensualmentality.com

How could someone get in touch with you?

My email is drgraceg@sensualmentality.com

Who are your favorite types of client?

The ones who really care about saving their marriage/relationship and are willing to do what it takes.

Would you like to share your most unusual experience?

My first time being asked about Kink and BDSM. Trying to research it and getting snooty and sometimes rude attitudes and answers from people who have been in the lifestyle for a long time.

How do you promote your business?

I mostly get my clients by Word of mouth.

Have you written any books or developed any products specifically for your clients?

Not yet, but I plan to.

I am also planning on making a couple of educational movies including “Introducing Kink” and how to talk to lover about your needs.

If so, definitely share some details and links for more information.
